lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.

So… it’s been a while since I’ve posted here. I really need to get better about that. And I still need to work on the design of this whole site. Ahh… so much to do. My activity is probably going to remain rather intermintent until late fall. I have a job at a theme park that closes on Oct. 31st. Until then, my schedule is jam-packed. Boy, it’d be nice to have a break. I have sort of learned, however, that there is no such thing as a work-life balance. You can have work… or you can have a life. Pick one. There’s your balance.

My life isn’t all just me growing steadily more cynical with each passing day, though. I’ve actually run across some rather exciting opportunities. I did the photos for my favorite acting teacher’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, I just finished the first session of my first engagement shoot, and I will be heading to Wisconsin tomorrow to assist on a wedding. I am so thrilled about all of these things and I plan to be writing a post about each of them.
But for now, I must sleep. That is definitely in the top 3 list of things that I’ve been missing out on since I started this job. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I miss it. I have the wedding tomorrow and I’m working on Sunday, but after that, hopefully I will have a chance to settle down and write up a post about Midsummer.

Until then, I bid you good night.
