I’m back again! My summer job is over. It was a great experience. I met some cool people, learned some new things, and made a few bucks. All in all, I’m thrilled I did it. However, I’m not so thrilled about how it took away from my time for flickr and photography. So now, I’m making a push to come back for real.
I haven’t quit my 365 project, but I’m not going to be posting them like I was. Considering how behind I am on uploading, it’d get really annoying having to upload them all in order like that. The goal was to take a photo every day for a year. For the most part, I’ve done that. I’ve definitely skipped a few days here and there, but I still have a pretty sizeable number of photos under my belt from this year. Of that, I am proud. I’ll get them all uploaded eventually, but I really want to go back to the way things were. I’ll upload a few things here and there, in no particular order. The ones that really count. No pressure. Just a love for the art and a desire to share it. I plan to post at least once a week, but hopefully more. We’ll see how it goes.
I would really like to write up individual posts about each of the really big photo gigs I got this year (Midsummer, the wedding, and engagement photos). I’ve uploaded some sneak-peak photos to flickr from them and hopefully I’ll be able to get those posts done soon.
Also, I’m putting some research into finding the best way to sell prints online. I’ve had people express an interest in buying my work before, but I’ve never had a good way of making that happen. Soon, there will be. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, I’d love to hear it. Also, if there are any photos you’d like to see available for print, let me know! I’m still working on my catalogue, so your input would be much appreciated.
I seem to like the phrase “here and there” in this post. Huh.
That’s all for now!
